Michael D Montoya, Founding Partner – Business and Strategic Development
Michael is renowned in Silicon Valley as an expert in Social Networks, Social Video, Online Advertising, and Open Social. Prior to his successful engagements in advising senior management with some of the largest UGC sites in the world, Michael worked in a variety of senior management and individual contributor positions at companies including 23bb giant Advance Publications in its American City Business Journals new media division where he headed up their web properties consisting of 300+ B2B, B2C web-sites in supporting the company’s business publications and building a 64 million online powerhouse. Michael was an early adopter of social networking in 2001-2002 with bizwomen.com and Hispanic Publishing Group's Super Onda.
Michael has significant international business experience with Dublin Ireland based Network365 (now Valista) where he headed up the North American business development operations and Monterrey Mexico based Dextra Technologies (Grupo Pulsar).
Michael is a former United States Marine and Gulf War Veteran and a graduate of the University of New Mexico, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management. Michael also earned his MBA in Strategic Management from Santa Clara University and Stanford University Graduate School of Business (Executive education).
Andrew Szykier, Founding Partner – Technology Development and R&D
Andre Szykier served as Chief Technology Officer of NetGami. Mr. Szykier is a Security Expert, Serial entrepreneur and Advisor. He is the Founder of VES and a Co-founder of Queryobject Systems Corp. and its predecessor and has been a Consultant to the technology industry since December 1998. Mr. Szykier served as an officer at Queryobject Systems Corp.'s from the Inception of Queryobject Systems Corp. from February 1989 to December ... 1998.
Prior to Co-founding Queryobject Systems Corp., Mr. Szykier was a Director of business research at Pacific Telesis Group, founder of Elan Vital Research Ltd., a Software Engineering and Consulting Firm, and was a Mathematician at Bell Labs, where he obtained a patent on signal compression and worked on interplanetary missions. Mr. Szykier is a Director of Global Network Privacy and 3Dfit.com, both privately held Companies. Mr. Szykier serves as Corporate Advisor of Webwisdom.com, Inc.
Mr. Szykier holds an M.S. in Applied Statistics from the university of California-Berkeley and a B.S. in Economics from St. Mary's University.
